A friend of mine grew up next to artist Nancy Webber, and posed him as Bernini's self portrait. I was amazed by it when growing up. I actually "used" the work, a bust of Christ believed to be one of Bernini's last works before his death, as a basis for studying the Baroque period for the Advanced Placement test in Art History... those were the days.
