Cy Twombly at the Tate

One of the reasons I was in London last month was to look in on the big Cy Twombly show at Tate Modern. And this is what I had to say about it recently in Time.

    The very first impression one would normally get after looking at Twombly's paintings is flashy, near blazing yet not conflagrating. His display of color invigorates one's normally calm emotion.

    Most arts are beyond words. Their beauty lies in the eyes of the beholders.

    It is wonderful that the octogenarian chooses to continue exercising his brushes on the canvas. The art world will doubtlessly enjoy his fruits.
