This is the same problem with Duchamp&#039;s ready-mades and conceptual &quot;art?”  It makes it hard for artists who create object-based art to convince a client of the real value of a piece of art.
The Skull is just a Dada work, like Duchamp’s  ready-mades, but taking another ridiculous step, letting the purchasers set the price. Ending up with NO VALUE at all.
